Urogynecology

Urogynecology is a subspecialty service offering diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the female lower urinary tract and pelvic floor.

The most common condition that we encounter is involuntary urinary leakage, or urinary incontinence. Pelvic organ prolapse, or descent of the pelvic organs, is a consequence of pelvic floor relaxation and may accompany urinary incontinence.

Through the use of simple, and occasionally sophisticated testing procedures, we offer diagnosis of and state-of-the-art treatment for these conditions as well as many others affecting the lower genitourinary tract
