Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)
Menopause is the stage in a woman's life, usually around age 51, that the permanent cessation of menstruation occurs. During this process, estrogen (a hormone) levels decrease, causing women to experience some or all of the following: hot flashes, genitourinary changes, skin changes, breast changes, emotional changes, and/or osteoporosis. Hormone replacement therapy can provide relief to some of these symptoms.
