Hypertension Pregnancy

Hypertension is the result of small blood vessels narrowing, causing the heart to work harder to pump the blood. During pregnancy, it may put both mother and baby at risk. Hypertension may cause less blood to flow to the kidneys, resulting in kidney disease. It may also cause problems during labor, delivery, and postpartum.

A healthy diet, moderate exercise, and medication prescribed by your physician will reduce the problems of high blood.
